Every time I start to check my email, there is some new headline about the guest list, the dress, the honeymoon, the ring, etc. I will admit, the romance of Kate and William is all very intriguing, but I'm most interested in the wedding of all weddings. I'm talking about the Marriage of Christ and the Church, His Bride.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
"The Sands of Time Are Sinking" is a beautiful old hymn about the day when the Church will be united with her Bridegroom, never to be parted again.
